HENNA is NEVER RAINBOW

Assalamualaikum wr..wb

"Catherine Cartwright-Jones
That is 0.8% not 8%. Did you not see or understand the decimal point? There is NO henna that has 8% to 10% lawsone. Normal range is 1.3% to 2.2%. Also, I've also run HPLC tests on henna in paste and dry, and they're practically identical. You really have no idea about the science here, keep it up!

selamat menyimak ^^

Lady Tetsu Well, the erythema reports are interesting, but not an ingredient list. However, my liability insurance will not cover me unless I know exactly the ingredients in what I'm applying on other people. For instance, my own recipe is henna powder, lemon juice, essential oils, molasses, and water. That I can certainly use, as I make it myself.

Ena Thehennastudio Rodriguez Although it is great that it has no PPD, the ingredient list is too generic. I could not present this to my insurance company let alone a client that may have skin conditions. What is "volatile matter", what are the solids? the cold water extract? the extraneous dyes? the crude matter? Truth be told it does not say anything...

Lady Tetsu *********** I only asked you a question, politely, since I needed to know what wxactly was in your paste. You have now repeatedly declined to give me a properly declared ingredients list, so I'm not certain how I could possibly be in the wrong here. Have a pleasant day.

Kenzi Henna For those who wonder why the moderators allow people to blatantly sell their stuff on here, I decided that it would be good for newbies to learn how to recognize what is henna and what isn't and also to see the kinds of questions they should ask when they are unsure. Thanks all you pros for showing everyone the way it's done!

I see how it happens, easily; but it still makes me very upset to see how careless and yes shameless this stuff is just presented for use on the largest organ in the body: skin.

Good that insurance was mentioned ~ I'm sure that is a new concept as well:/

Really? I see 0.8% lawsone on that sheet. I've been sending every batch of henna to an independent lab for five years now as part of my PhD dissertation research, and 0.8% lawsone is very, very poor, indeed. For you to post that test tells me that you either have no idea what you're looking at, or you've got some amazing hutzpah.. To get any sort of stain, you need henna with 1.5% or above. 2% is actually worth buying.

Lauren Grover Hi! Henna paste only lasts a week or so without refrigeration or freezing. Is your past shipped frozen? How much does that cost to CT, USA?
6 Desember pukul 13:09 · Suka

*********Hello, Our henna paste cones last for more than a year as they are prepared by a composition of Natural Henna and NATURAL OILS . This enables them to last longer and stain positively. Feel free to ask more about our products.
6 Desember pukul 14:51 · Suka

Urszula Chłopicka haha my natural henna paste lasts about a week in a fridge; left in the room temperature it'll last for about a day, because it does not contain ANY chemicals, just natural henna powder and natural oils
6 Desember pukul 16:08 · Batal Suka · 2

Lady Tetsu which natural oils, please?
6 Desember pukul 19:20 · Suka

 Henna Nilgiri oil, Clove Oil
6 Desember pukul 19:43 · Suka

Karuna Rani Gupta Clove is dangerous to use. It can cause bad reactions to sensitive skin.
6 Desember pukul 19:45 melalui seluler · Suka · 2

Lauren Grover Nilgiri looks to be what we would call Eucalyptus Globulus, which many react to, but not as much as they do to clove.
Are you saying that the only thing you put in the henna is these essential oils- literally just henna powder and oil, no lemon juice, water, or other liquids? I don't know of anyone who has tried this. Now i'm curious as to what would happen- but not with these oils. Clove oil should never be applied neat to skin.

6 Desember pukul 19:56 · Suka

******* Right now we are just exchanging the views but I am not sure how many in the group has actually used **** Cones.
6 Desember pukul 19:57 · Suka

****** I respect your concerns of sensitivity and hurt to some of the special skins who are allergic to certain products but a generic product is always developed for the masses.
6 Desember pukul 19:59 · Suka

***** Also, as you all know very well that, natural henna tattoo always gives a lighter color after washed or dried and wiped off and later it grows higher in tone towards the dark maroon brown tone depending upon the skin type.
6 Desember pukul 20:03 · Suka

Lauren Grover I don't think anyone here is likely to try a product which claims something that is not physically possible, when we can get great, safe results on our own.
6 Desember pukul 20:08 · Suka · 6

******* For safety and precaution, even though we have only natural contents, we took the initiative to print a recommendation over the cone to ensure the safety of those who may be new to henna with sensitive skin.
6 Desember pukul 20:10 · Suka

****** Now its upto you to test and believe a great product which may even set you free from preparing your own henna paste. In Fact it will offer you the luxury of just drawing awesome tattoos without worries.
6 Desember pukul 20:14 · Suka

Lauren Grover I don't think you understand the concern. I have been using henna professionally for over 20 years, and I can tell you from my experience that henna paste made without chemical preservatives or dyes will not give any color past a week or so. It's just not possible. Skin sensitivity is an issue, yes, but the real problem is that your original claim cannot be true.
6 Desember pukul 20:16 · Telah disunting · Batal Suka · 5

Karuna Rani Gupta I agree with Lauren Grover there are too many questions about the henna.
I never use anything that can cause any kind of problem on anyone. It will only hurt me in the end. All natural henna can NOT last a year! You can not fool people who do their research. You must be using petrol in your henna cause that is the ONLY way it can last that long!
All natural means pure henna, lemon juice, water, lavender oil, cajput oil, and one more I can't remember that is safe to use. You can get some amazing stains with just those ingredients. Those are all safe. Henna with cloves can burn into a child's skin!
Please do not take us as stupid ignorant people.
